Daniel Whyte III, Who Has Preached the Gospel Nearly Every Day for Over 5 Years Tells Southern Baptist Convention Pastors and Other Pastors to SHUT UP AND PREACH! Challenges them to Preach the Gospel for 100 Days Straight

Daniel Whyte III Tells Southern Baptist Convention Pastors, National Baptist Pastors, Independent Baptist Pastors, Bible Church Pastors, and Other Evangelical Pastors, Including Bible-believing Pentecostals and Methodists, to SHUT UP AND PREACH! in His Message That He Preached on Sunday in the Long-Running Just Jesus Evangelistic Campaign Series. The Title of the Message is “Jesus and the Purpose of the Parables”

The first thing that Daniel Whyte III wants everybody to know is that he is an independent Baptist preacher. He’s not a part of any convention and he has no bone to pick with any of his Bible-believing brethren because God has shown him great favor that he does not deserve over the past 41 years of evangelistic ministry, so much so that the Southern Baptist brethren have been good to him, his family, and to his ministry, the National Baptist brethren have been good to him, his family, and to his ministry, the independent Baptist brethren have been good to him, his family, and to his ministry, the Bible church brethren have been good to him, his family, and to his ministry, and many other Bible-believing brethren, including Bible-believing Pentecostals and Methodists, have been good to him, his family, and to his ministry far beyond what he deserves. One day while preaching every day for five years, he was traveling through Arkansas, and to keep his streak going, so to speak, he had to come off the road, and he asked an Episcopalian pastor if he would let him use one of their rooms to preach the Gospel online, and he let him use one of their rooms to preach the Gospel, so he thanks God for all Bible-believing brothers and sisters in Christ, because they have been a blessing to him, his family, and his ministry down through the years, so he’s not mad at anybody.

Daniel Whyte III, who has preached the Gospel nearly every day for over 5 years straight in the long-running Just Jesus Evangelistic Campaign and other campaigns and who has recently gotten liberty from the Lord to take an extended working vacation where he does three to four podcasts a day and preaches twice a week, is challenging all Bible-believing Southern Baptist Convention pastors, National Baptist pastors, Independent Baptist pastors, Bible Church pastors, and all other Evangelical pastors, including Bible-believing Pentecostals and Methodists, to preach the Gospel every day for 100 days straight, and if they are too old or too sick to preach the Gospel for 100 days straight, to open up a classroom or a chapel for one of their young, God-called preachers to preach on a daily basis and put them on the church social media platform where they can be heard on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Zoom, and other outlets around the world live and on-demand and have them preach the Gospel for 100 days straight and stop talking about things close to nothing, such as politics, church politics, critical race theory, leaked letters, the high-tech lynching of your own good brethren, women preachers, racism, and other such insignificant issues in light of God’s grand scheme of things. The devil has bamboozled pastors to waste time on issues that are not that important in light of the fact that the world is burning down, and eternal souls are going to HELL by the thousands DAILY. Every God-called preacher really ought to be preaching the Gospel and the Word of God at least until Christmas, which from today is about 185 days. You will be amazed at what God will do with you preaching the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ from your auditorium, from your office, from your kitchen counter, from a chapel on your church campus, or a classroom on your church campus, around the world on the various platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and Zoom. Believe it or not, people are hungry for the Gospel, particularly in this day of the universal novel coronavirus plague-pandemic, which by the way within the next few weeks is coming back to America with a vengeance with the Indian variant coronavirus plague. Now mind you, at this point, as I have said in another article, this is not about trying to save America. We had our opportunity, we had our shot, and the truth of the matter is we, the church, have failed God, we have failed Jesus Christ, and we have failed America and the world. But on our way out of here, in the words of the Apostle Paul, if we preach the Gospel faithfully, we can “save some.”

Dealing with such insignificant issues as was mentioned above, at this point in our journey in America and the history of the church, is quite frankly nothing but easy subjects to deal with to make people feel like they are doing something significant when they know they have failed at doing the most important work that God has called them to do, and that is giving themselves to “prayer and to the ministry of the word.” Now, if you really have a burden from God about these issues, then preach it from the Word of God! Put it in a Biblical sermon if you have Biblical grounds for what you are talking about. Don’t sit around slamming people on Twitter and Facebook and your blog. Preach the Word of God and make sure you preach the Gospel at the end of what you are talking about. There is no form of communication on earth more powerful and more beautiful than preaching. If you feel like you have Biblical grounds to defend critical race theory, then preach it from the Scriptures. If you have Biblical grounds to preach against critical race theory, then preach it from the Scriptures, and then do not fail to tell them that Jesus Christ said the most wonderful, the most powerful, and the most important words ever said to mankind in the history of the world when He said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Let them know that red, yellow, black, and white, you are precious in God’s sight and Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins and rose on the third day by the power of God. If you have Biblical grounds for ordained women pastors, then preach that from the Scriptures. If you have Biblical grounds against ordained women pastors, then preach that from the Scriptures, but remind people that whatever you believe about that, please understand Jesus Christ said the most wonderful, the most powerful, and the most important words ever said to mankind in the history of the world when He said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Preach, black preacher, preach! Preach, white preacher, preach!

The truth of the matter is that the Southern Baptist Convention and other Bible-believing brothers would not be in the uproar they are in about these things if they had taken the advice I gave them some 5 years ago, which I repeated at the beginning of the year when the new president came in, and that has been on this page and this website the whole time:

The daily Just Jesus Evangelistic Campaign sermon series is aimed at sharing the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with unbelievers and reminding Christians, in this important election year, to keep the main thing the main thing — and that is reaching unbelievers with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and praying for their salvation, for the problem in America is not only disobedient presidents, politicians, and people, but disobedient pastors, preachers, and parishioners who have refused to obey the Lord’s Great Commission which is to, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” and who have refused to obey God’s repeated commands to “pray without ceasing” for unbelievers, believers, and political leaders. Yes, you should pray for the right candidate to win; yes, you should vote for the candidate that the Lord gives you peace about voting for. But don’t get caught up in it as the world does. Nothing much is going to change until people get saved and get their hearts right with the Lord.

This campaign is inspired by the following three verses: 1 Corinthians 2:2 says, “For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”

Acts 5:42 says, “And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.”

2 Timothy 2:4 says, “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”

This series is not for Christians necessarily. However, I do hope you are one of those saints who still loves to hear the “Old, old story of Jesus and His love” — As another hymn says, “For those who know it best Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.” This series is primarily for unbelievers, so they can hear and understand the Gospel and be saved from sin and the punishment of sin which is hell.

All the cacophony, noise, and confusion going on right now is obviously rooted in pride:

“Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.” – Proverbs 13:10

“For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” – 1 Corinthians 14:33

“But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.” – Galatians 5:15-17

If you walk in the flesh like this, you will fight and devour one another, so I challenge my dear brethren to shut up and preach! Preach the Gospel, preach the Word of God, “preach the word in season and out of season,” and give yourselves “to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

Jesus and the Purpose of the Parables, Part 5 (Just Jesus Evangelistic Campaign, Day 1502 since Jan. 20, 2017 / Day 1867 since Jan. 1, 2016)

TEXT: Matthew 13:10-17

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

——-

Now, if you are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, allow me to show you how you can place your faith and trust in Him for Salvation from sin and Hell.

First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”

Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18:8: “Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by the power of God for you so that you can live eternally with Him. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.

Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead, and you want to trust Him for your Salvation today, please pray with me this simple prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. I am sorry for my sins, and today I choose to turn from my sins. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior and I choose to follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour! For more information to help you grow in your newfound faith in Christ, go to Gospel Light Society.com and read “What To Do After You Enter Through the Door”. Jesus Christ said in John 10:9, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”

If you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior today, please email me at dw3@gospellightsociety.com and let us know. There is some free material that we want to send you. If you have a prayer request, please e-mail that to us as well, and we will pray for you until you tell us to stop.

God loves you. We love you. And may God bless you.

Class 86 of “The Ramp” to the Highway of Success course for young women.

Welcome to Class 86 of “The Ramp” to the Highway of Success course for young women. I am Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society, working in partnership with the Martin Luther King Senior Institute for Young Men & Young Women. The Institute aims to honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Sr., commonly referred to as “Daddy King”, whom God used to raise the great leader, Martin Luther King Jr. Our purpose is to guide young men and young women, and help them get on the path to becoming kings and queens for the glory of God.

I am your instructor for this course and the author of the ESSENCE Magazine bestselling book “Letters to Young Black Men” and the national bestselling book “Letters to Young Black Women.” My wife, Meriqua Whyte, and my eldest daughter, Daniella Whyte, co-authored “Letters to Young Black Women” with me. My daughter (who has two bachelor’s degrees in psychology and religion and a master’s degree in human services counseling—executive leadership and a second master’s degree in developmental psychology) and her mother, developed the Study Guide. We are using Letters to Young Black Women and its study guide to guide you through this course. This course is for all young women, but especially for young black women and young women of color who oftentimes face disadvantages that others do not. The goal of this class is to help you operate from a position of strength and power based upon the Word of God so you can be victorious in life. My prayer is that this class will empower you to win against your enemies: the devil, sorry men, and even yourself.

Today, we will begin our study, “THE KIND OF MAN YOU SHOULD NOT MARRY” (Letter Twenty-Nine).

— First, Let’s Pray —

Allow me to begin with a quote from Voddie Baucham, Jr, author of What He Must Be…If He Wants to Marry My Daughter. He said: “[If he wants to marry my daughter] he’s got to be a guy who loves Christ. He has to be a guy who understands how to lead [like Christ]. He’s got to be a guy who understands that marriage is the priority in a family relationship. He’s got to be a guy who loves kids and is ready to have kids. He’s got to understand his role as priest, prophet, provider, and protector [the four “P’s”] in his home.”

Now, please pull out your text and your digital study guide or follow along on the screen. First, I will read a portion of the corresponding letter from the book, Letters to Young Black Women. Then we will proceed with this lesson:

Dear Daughters & YBW:

As you know, there is much questioning, particularly in the church, about who can find a virtuous woman. An equally important question, one that is in the Bible as well but that is not mentioned much, is found in Proverbs 20:6: “…A faithful man who can find?”

In this day and time, the truth of the matter is that there are not many virtuous women, and there are not many faithful men either, and that leads me to the kind of man you should not marry:

• Don’t marry a man who is not a Christian, a man who does not love God or fear God. For if you marry a man who neither knows God or fears God, you and your marriage are in a world of trouble. The Word of God clearly states in II Corinthians 6:14: “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” You had better ask the question on that new book entitled, He May Be Fine But Is He Saved? If you violate the verse above, you will have hell to pay. Mark my words.

• Don’t marry a dawg because dawgs have no heart (See Letters 22 & 23).

• Don’t marry an unfaithful man. In other words, don’t marry a man who is unfaithful to God, unfaithful to his church, and unfaithful to you. A faithful man is hard to find, but if God blesses you with one, you have a blessing indeed.

• Don’t marry a deadbeat. Please don’t marry a man who is lazy, who is listless, and who has no drive nor purpose in life. Marry a man who is about something, and who is going somewhere because if he is going somewhere, he’ll take you with him. Marry a man with a dream and a vision.

• Don’t marry a wimp. Don’t marry a weak, effeminate man who cannot think and do independently of you. Why? Because within a few weeks you are going to get tired of doing his job and your job too. Frankly, you will get bored with him.

• Don’t marry a broke man. Here’s the rule you should follow — whether you choose to work or not, all household bills, including your car note, should be paid out of his money. Your check should not be depended upon to take care of the household.

And, by the way, don’t bring the following young men home either:

• A young man with more gold in his mouth than he has in his pocket.
• A young man with his cap on backwards and an earring in his ear.
• A young man with no car.
• A young man that I have to help get a job.
• A young man with a lowrider car that bounces up and down.
• A young man without a college degree.
• A young man who does not come from a good family.
• A young man with braids in his hair and his pants hanging off his behind.

You get my drift? These jokers won’t make it in the Whyte House, so don’t bring them here.

If you marry, marry a saved, strong, faithful man that you can respect, love, and on whom you can depend.

Marry Well,
Papa

TALK TO GOD: Holy Father, Please protect me from marrying the wrong man. If it is Your will for me to get married, please bless me with the man that You want me to have. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

You may have heard the saying, “You don’t attract what you want. You attract what you are.” Young ladies, simply desiring a Christian husband is not enough. If you want a godly man to be your husband, be a godly woman. If you want a faithful man to be your husband, be a virtuous woman. If you want a man of purpose to be your husband, be a woman of purpose. If you live by low standards, don’t expect to attract people—certainly not a mate—of high standards. Before wondering ‘Where’s my Boaz?’, become a Ruth. If you want to meet an Isaac, make sure you are a Rebekah. Outside of extraordinary circumstances, you will draw into your life circle people who align with your values based on how you carry yourself. Of course, this approach is not altogether foolproof, meaning it does not 100% ensure that you will meet and marry a godly, successful man. Many good girls and first-class women have been messed over by guys who, on the surface, seemed to be on par with their love for the Lord, outward success, etc, but who were secretly living a double life. Once the woman is deceived into marrying him, the fairytale falls apart. So, make sure that you regularly pray to God for guidance before making a decision on who to marry if this is the desire of your heart. And trust Him when he speaks.

Here are more points to consider on this subject from Holding Hands and Holding Hearts by Richard and Sharon Phillips: “A Christian woman is to seek a man who is: 1. Regular at church… A believing man who often cannot make time to faithfully attend and to be a contributing member of a church is not a likely candidate for the obligations and challenges of marriage. 2. A man of the Word of God, a man of prayer, and a man who delights in worship. 3. A man after God’s own heart. 4. [A possessor of] specific character traits [such as] industry… integrity…self-control…[and] kindness. …A redeemed woman is one who has entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through faith. Her sins are forgiven, and she knows God’s love. She fears the Lord realizing that blessing for her comes through obedience to His Word. His commands are not burdensome to her and her heart is not set on worldly treasures. She attends regular worship and approaches her life with prayer. She enjoys healthy fellowship with other believers and bears observable fruit in ministry to others. She answers God’s calling in her life while single, not waiting for marriage to give her happiness or purpose. …Take a look, then, at what you are presenting to men and ask what kind of man you will attract. If you are relying on charm and outward beauty, setting them forth in your dress and flirtatious conduct, then realize that it is only the foolish man who will fall into your trap. Especially if you are loud or contentious, realize that the Bible specifically warns men against falling for you. The godly man, the man who will make a loving and faithful husband, sees you and turns away. How much better for you to trust the Lord and cultivate those spiritual beauties that are calculated to draw a man of godly character and real wisdom and, better still, that are certain to make you precious in the sight of our loving Lord and God. …What matters most is not finding the one right person but becoming the person that God wants you to be. Before judging the man or woman you are with – scrutinizing and appraising every attribute and characteristic, as if you were buying a horse – you ought instead to scrutinize your own heart. Here are some questions to ask before an engagement to marriage:

1. What would it mean for me to love him or her in accordance with the Bible’s teaching?

2. Am I willing to commit myself to anyone “for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health?”

3. Can I be steadfast in fidelity and servant-hearted in ministry?

4. Is God leading our lives in similar directions?

5. Do we have similar goals and ideas about children?

The issue is not whether you can find someone worthy of your love, but whether you are ready to give a love that is worthy of marriage.”

Take some time now to honestly evaluate who you are as a woman and what you are advertising to the world with your conduct in anticipation of marrying a good and godly man.

Now, like many of you, I grew up in a very religious and church-going family, and during that time, I often heard the phrase “Being Saved.” Now, much of what church people said “being saved” was back then, especially in my community, is wrong according to the Bible. I wrote an article about it titled “On ‘Being Saved’ in Black America” which is available for you to read free of charge on our website, gospellightsociety.com. Right now, I want to share with you very briefly what the Bible says “being saved” really is.

First, understand that you need to be saved because you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Second, understand that a horrible punishment — eternal Hell — awaits those who are not saved. In Matthew 25:41, Jesus Christ said that God will say to those who are not saved, “depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”

Third, realize that God loves you very much and wants to save you from Hell. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you want to be saved from Hell and be guaranteed a home in Heaven, simply believe in Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose from the dead for your sins, and then call upon Him in prayer and ask Him to save your soul. And believe me, He will.

Romans 10:9-13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” That is the most important decision you will ever make.

God bless you and keep you until we meet for our next class.

Class 86 of “The Ramp” to the Highway of Success course for young men

Welcome to Class 86 of “The Ramp” to the Highway of Success course for young men. I am Daniel Whyte III, chairman of the National Association to Save Young Black Men in partnership with the Martin Luther King Senior Institute for Young Men & Young Women.

I am your instructor for this course and the author of the ESSENCE national bestselling book “Letters to Young Black Men”. We are using that book as the text and its study guide to guide you through the course. The study guide was developed with the help of Jamie McCallum (M.Div, Truett Theological Seminary), Charles Garrett (M.Div, Southwestern Theological Seminary), and now my youngest son Danyel Ezekiel Whyte who is in his third year of college. This course is for all young men, but especially for young black men and young men of color who oftentimes have a “difficult journey” in this great country called America. I call this class “the Ramp” to the Highway of Success because my goal is to get you on “the Ramp”. As a man, you ought to be able to make it from there. Out of respect for you as a young man, my job is to get you on the ramp and point you in the right direction, not to tell you all the details once you get onto the highway of success. With God, you can do great things.

This lesson is titled “On Your Relationship With Your Mother, Part 3”

In closing this letter, let me kindly say, respect and love your mother. Listen to your mother as I have just delineated, but remember that God comes before your mother. That may be obvious, but from my role as a minister, I have learned that that needs to be said.

Notice what Jesus had to say about this matter in Matthew 10:37: “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

Sad to say, many black men have almost denied God’s Word to the point where their mother’s word means more to them than God’s Word, and that is not the way it should be. At some point, friend, in a man’s life, a mother has to release her son, and a son will have to let go of his mother. That is just the way God designed for things to be. I share these simple truths because so many young black men have allowed their relationship with their mother to hinder their relationships with their wives and children; they have allowed their relationship with their mother to hurt their finances; they have allowed their relationship with their mother to affect them when they are making major decisions in life. This ought not so to be. To help us have the proper healthy relationship with our mothers, we must come to Jesus. Jesus is the best example of how a man should relate to his mother after he is grown.

Notice with me three principles that should guide us, as grown men, in relating to our mothers: 1.While Jesus was living under his parents’ authority and roof, he submitted to their authority even though He was God. This goes back to the principle of authority. Notice Luke 2:49-51 from the Word of God: “And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? Wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business? And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.”

2. When Jesus became grown and his mission in life was taking shape, his relationship with his mother took a marked turn. Jesus, being a man, took a more leadership position over his mother and his mother took on a more supportive and encouraging role. Now it appears as though Jesus had to lovingly say and do some things to help His dear mother see this change in their relationship; for Mary, like all mothers, struggled with seeing her “baby” slipping away from her motherly grip. Jesus had to strategically make to help His dear mother understand that there was a major change taking place in their relationship, and please notice, as a side point, that these two statements were made publicly:

Matthew 12:46-50 says, “While he yet talked to the people, behold his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? And who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

John 2:1-5 says, “And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servant, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.”

If the Lord tarries His Coming and we live, we will continue lessons in our next class.

Let’s Pray.

In closing, Tony Dungy, the first black coach to win the Super Bowl and the host of NBC’s Sunday Night Football said, “You are never going to get anywhere in sports or in life until you become convinced of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You may become a professional athlete or have fame and nice cars and nice houses and a lot of money, but what you’ll find is that all of that stuff goes away pretty quickly. You have to understand that Christ died for our sins, and that He died not just to be our Savior but so that He could be the center of our lives.”

Now, like many of you, I grew up in a very religious and church-going family, and during that time, I often heard the phrase “Being Saved.” Now, much of what the church people I grew up around said “being saved” was back then especially, in my community, is wrong according to the Bible.
